While holding the piece of wood level, measure the distance from the bottom of the piece of wood to
the ground.
Divide the tape measure distance (rise) by the length of the piece of wood (run) and multiply by 100.
Example:
•
Run = 12 feet / 3.6 meters
•
Rise = 12 inches / 0.3 meters
•
12 inches ÷ 12 feet = 0.083 × 100 = 8.3%
•
0.3 meters ÷ 3.6 meters = 0.083 × 100 = 8.3%
If the slope exceeds the maximum slope or side slope rating, the machine must be winched or
transported up or down the slope. See Transport and Lifting section.
Operation from Ground with Controller
