    Secton 11 - Mantenance Aprl 2019 General Machine Maintenance General Machine Maintenance Instructions in this portion of the manual are to be used in conjunction with the Pre-Start, Frequent and Annual Inspection checklists found in this machine’s Operator’s Manual. Important: Scheduled maintenance inspection checklists are included in the Operator’s Manual for use only by qualified service technicians.

Continued use of an insufficiently greased steer yoke will result in component damage. Open the steer yoke cover. No zerk fittings.

Electrical Wiring Maintaining electrical wiring in good condition is essential to safe operation and good machine performance.

Scissor Slide Blocks Maintaining the condition of the scissor arm slide blocks is essential to safe machine operation. Continued use of worn out wear pads may result in component damage and unsafe operating conditions.

Dirty oil may cause the machine to perform poorly and continued use may cause component damage. Extremely dirty conditions may require oil changes to be performed more often. Before replacing the hydraulic oil, the oil may be tested by an oil distributor for specific levels of contamination and additive breakdown to verify that changing the oil is necessary.
