Parity

The Parity option in the Advanced menu controls system
memory parity checking. The system ships with non-parity
SIMMs. The default setting for the Parity option is
"Disabled." The system supports parity and non-parity
memory.
The Parity parameter might require a Supervisor password.
NOTE
parity SIMMs that come in your system and replace
them with parity SIMMs.

Large Disk Access Mode

Select the Large Disk Access Mode parameter if you need
to configure a large disk (see the following table).
Use the legend keys to make your selections and exit to the
Main Menu.

DESCRIPTION
Select DOS if you have DOS. Select
Other if you have another operating
system such as UNIX.
A large disk is one that has more than
1024 cylinders, more than 16 heads, or
more than 63 tracks per sector.
