Unit Cover
You need to remove the system unit cover to
install any expansion options, such as memory modules
and drives, inside the system unit
check or change system configuration jumpers
replace the system configuration backup battery.
This chapter provides cover removal and replacement
procedures for desktop and minitower systems. See the
sections appropriate for your system.

DESKTOP COVER

Use the following procedures to remove and replace the
desktop cover.

Removing the Desktop Cover

Remove the desktop cover as follows.
Turn off and unplug the system unit and monitor.
