Inside Expansion Slot in the Desktop
Use the following procedures to install or remove an ex-
pansion board from the inside expansion slot in the desktop.
Installing a Board
Use the following instructions to install an expansion board
in the inside expansion slot in the desktop system.
Remove the screw that secures the expansion slot cover

to the rear of the system. Remove the slot cover.
the system board or any option board if it falls into
the system. Take special care to keep the slot cover
from falling when you remove the screw.
If the slot cover does fall into the unit, be sure to
remove it before you replace the system unit cover.
