MOVING GUIDELINES

Use the following steps to prepare your system for moving
or shipping.
1. Back up your hard disk files onto diskettes or tape
cartridges.
Be sure to take precautions for storing and transporting
diskettes or cartridges so that they are not exposed to
magnetic fields or electrical impulses.
2. Remove any diskette from the diskette drive. If you have
a CD in a CD-ROM reader, remove the CD.
3. Turn off the system unit and any external options con-
nected to it.
4. Unplug the system unit power cable from the wall outlet
or surge suppressor, then from the unit.
