Locating Device Slots

The system has three slots (see the figures on the following
pages):
T
a 3 1/2-inch accessible device slot that can contain a
1.44-MB diskette drive (or other device)
T
one 3 1/2-inch internal hard drive slot (1-inch high, thin-
height)
T
one 5 1/4-inch accessible device slot (1.6-inch high, half-
height) that can contain a CD-ROM drive (or other
device).

Preparing the Device

Before installing a storage device in the system, follow any
preinstallation instructions that come with the device. For
example, check the following information.
