ECP
Extended Capabilities Port. A parallel-port standard for PCs
that supports bidirectional communication between the PC and
attached devices (such as a printer). ECP is about 10 times
faster than the older Centronics standard. Another modern
parallel port for PCs that offers similar performance is the EPP
(Enhanced Parallel Port).
EDO memory
Extended Data Out memory. A faster type of asynchronous
computer memory that holds its last-requested data in a cache
after releasing it. EDO memory is designed for use with the
Intel Pentium and Pentium II processors.
EIDE
Extended Integrated Drive Electronics. The EIDE specification
is an enhanced version of IDE that allows for faster transfer
rates and supports larger hard drive sizes
enhanced VGA
A video interface that offers more colors or higher resolution
than VGA.
EPP
Enhanced Parallel Port, a parallel port standard for PCs that

extended RAM
