Mounting
Orientation
MobilePar HEX 5 may be mounted in any position; however, make sure there is
adequate ventilation around the product.
Rigging
• Before deciding on a location, make sure there is easy access to the product
for maintenance and programming.
• Make sure adequate ventilation is provided around the product.
• Make sure that the structure or surface onto which you are mounting the
product can support the products weight.
• When mounting the product overhead, always use a safety cable (not
included).
• Mount the product securely to a rigging point, whether an elevated platform or
a truss.
• When rigging the product onto a truss, use a mounting clamp of the
appropriate weight capacity.
EZMag™
When using EZMag™ magnetic mount to secure the MobilePar HEX 5 to metal
surfaces, follow these precautions:
• Check Magnetic Strength: Confirm the magnetic force is strong enough to
hold the weight of the fixture securely.
• Ensure a Clean Surface: The metal surface must be smooth, clean, and free
from debris to allow the magnet to adhere properly.
• Caution Overhead Use: Do not rely solely on magnets for overhead rigging;
it may be necessary to use a safety cable in certain cases (not included). User
discretion is advised.
• Horizontal Mounting Only: Hang only on a horizontal surface. It is not
advised to mount the light on a vertical surface using the EZMag™.
