Security Setting > MAC Control
MAC Control allows you to assign different access right for different users and to assign a specific IP address
to a certain MAC address.
To enable MAC Address Control please make sure to tick on Enable tick box on the top of the page.
Two types of control are available:
Connection control. Check Connection Control to control which clients (wired and wireless) can connect
to the unit. If a client is denied to connect to this device, it means the client can not access to the Internet
either. Choose allow or deny to allow or deny clients with MAC address that are not in the list to connect
to this device.
Association control. Check Association Control to control which wireless client can associate with the unit.
If a client is denied to associate to the unit, it means the client can not send or receive any data via this
device. Choose allow or deny to allow or deny the clients with MAC addresses that are not in the list to
associate to the wireless LAN
Click Next Page or Previous Page to see the entire list.
Click Save to save the settings and Undo to cancel.
