EVALUATION SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
The
ACE Software
is a desktop software application that allows the
evaluation and control of multiple evaluation systems from across
the Analog Devices, Inc., product portfolio. The EVAL-AD4080-
FMCZ hardware is controlled and configured through the ACE
Software; however, an additional software plug-in that can be
installed from within the ACE application is required.
Follow these steps to install the ACE Software:
1. Download the ACE Software package from the
web page on the Analog Devices website.
2. Click Download ACE Installer to download the installer file.
3. Run the installer and follow the instructions to complete the
software installation process.
After ACE is successfully installed, the EVAL-AD4080-FMCZ plug-
in can be installed as follows:
1. Run the ACE Software and click on the Plug-in Manager in
the ACE sidebar, then select Available Packages.
2. From the list of plug-ins available, select the Board.AD4080
(note that you can use the Search field to help filter the list of
boards to find the relevant one), then click Install selected.
