■ Specifying edge detection conditions
Set the direction in which edges are searched and the change in density.

Selecting the color of edges
Select the direction of density change for the edge to be detected.
MENU Mode-[CUSTM]-[COLOR]

Selecting the edge detection direction
Select the direction in which edges are searched.

Changing edge detectivity
Change detectivity when a stable edge cannot be located.

Setting
A change from dark to light is judged as an edge.
A change from light to dark is judged as an edge
Setting
Searches from bottom to top.
Searches from top to bottom.
Searches from left to right.
Searches from right to left.
Setting
Edge detectivity becomes sensitive.
Select this when there is little background density deviation and a stable
edge cannot be located.
Standard detectivity.
Edge detectivity becomes insensitive.
Select this when debris is mistakenly detected as the edge.
