Initial commissioning

 Risk of injury or damage to property due to improper installation.
Incorrect installation of the tumble dryer can lead to personal injury
or damage to property.
Before commissioning the tumble dryer for the first time, make sure
it has been installed.
Connect the tumble dryer correctly.
Please observe the instructions in "Installation".
Complete the initial commissioning process. During the initial com-
missioning process, you will need to define the settings for daily use
of the tumble dryer. Some settings can only be modified during the
initial commissioning process. After that, they can only be changed
by the Miele Customer Service Department.
These settings are also described under "Supervisor level".

Switching on the tumble dryer

Press the  button.

The welcome screen will light up.
Setting the display language
You will be asked to select the display language. You can change the
language at any time (see "Language" under "Supervisor level").

Swipe left or right across the display with your finger until the lan-

guage you want appears.
Briefly touch the required language with your finger.

The selected language will be highlighted in orange and the display will
change to the next setting.

Reference to optional external devices

If there are external devices (e.g. peak-load systems or payment
devices), connect the communication box and/or slide a communic-
ation module into the slot on the back of the tumble dryer before ini-
tial commissioning. For this purpose, the tumble dryer must be dis-
connected from the power supply. Then start the commissioning
process.
