Crankcase Assembly - Honda VT600C 1988 Manual

CRANKSHAFT/TRANSMISSION
(1) BOLI
Tighten thè bolt with thè look washer and bend up thè tabs of
thè look washer.
12) TABS
(1) RIGHI SHIFT
Instali thè right shift fork with thè "R" mark on thè fork facing
FORK
up.
Assemble thè mainshaft, countershaft, shift fork shaft and
shift dnjm.
Instali them into thè left crankcase as an assembly.
CRANKCASE ASSEMBLY
Apply sealant to thè crankcase mating surfaces.
instali thè dowel pins.
1) DOWEL PINS
Assemble thè right and left crankcases being careful to align
thè dowel pins and shafts.
CAUTION
Do noi force ihe crankcase halves logeiher; if ihere is exessive
force required, someihing is wrong. Remove thè righi crank
case and check for misaligned paris.
