IN: 19.4-19.6 mm (0.76-0,77 in)
EX; 17.9-18.1 mm (0.70-0.71 in)
(1) VALVE GUIDE
REAMER
Ream thè new valve guides after installation.
NOTE
Use cutting oli on thè reamer during this operation.
It is important that thè reamer always be rotated In thè
seme direction when it Is inserted or removed.
Clean thè head thoroughiy after reaming thè valve guides.

VALVE SEAT INSPECTION/REFACING
Clean all intake and exhaust valves thoroughiy to remove
carbon deposits.
Apply a light coating of Prussian Blue to each valve seat. Lap
each valve and seat using a rubber hose or other hand-lapping
tool.
Remove and inspect each valve.
CAUTION
The valve canno! be ground. Ifthe valve face is burned or bodly
worn or if it coniacis thè seat unevenly, replace thè valve.
Inspect thè width of each valve seat.
STANDARD;
SERVICE LIMIT: 1.5 mm (0.06 in)
0.9-1.1 mm (0.035-0.043 in)
If thè seat is too wide, too narrow or has low spots, thè seat
must be ground.
