CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY
●A (2) STEM SEAL (1) VALVE I4Ì RETAINER
Instali thè valve spring seats and new stem seals.
Lubricate each valve stem with M0S2 paste grease and insert
thè valve into thè valve guide. Turn thè valve slowly while in-
serting to avoid damaging thè seals.

SEAT
Move thè valves up and down to check for smooth operation.

Instali thè valve springs with thè tightiy wound colls facing thè
combustion chamber.
Instali thè spring retainers.
Compress thè springs and instali thè valve cotters.
CAUTION
● To prevenl loss of lension, do noi compress thè valve springs
more than necessary io instali thè valve cotters.
