4.3 General safety instructions
RISK OF INJURY DUE TO INCORRECT HANDLING
The incorrect handling of the machine (e.g. reaching into abra-
sives or polishes) may cause blunt injuries, abrasions or burns.
The machine may only be used by people who

have read and understood the operating instructions,
➾
are familiar with the start-up, operation and maintenance
of machines and the applicable accident prevention regu-
lations,
➾
recognise the dangers that occur during work and work
reliably,
➾
do not operate the machine outside the given power ranges
(see 5.1 Technical data),
➾
only operate the machine according to the approved appli-
cations (see 4.2 Intended use).
RISK OF INJURY IN UNSUITABLE ENVIRONMENTS
Poor or excessively dark lighting or inadequate space to work
may cause injuries.
Only use the machine

in good lighting conditions,
➾
with adequate space to work.
