Disassembling the piston rod

The steps are identical for both fork legs, except for the hydrostop needle and valve.

Preparatory work
-
Disassemble the fork legs. (El p. 19)

Remove the spring. (El p. 21)

Disassemble the cartridge. (E8 p. 21)
Main work
-
Degrease hydrostop needle O and clamp using the special tool.

Release hydrostop needle Q and remove it from the piston rod.
