Conversion to hot water operation

The device can be retrofitted for hot water operation (max. 30 °C). The precondition for this
is the installation of an external thermostatic mixer tap.
This necessitates the availability of a separate cold and hot water connection.
A suitable thermostatic mixer tap can be purchased from a plumbing merchant or is
available as a special item to be ordered separately.
11.2.1

Thermostatic mixer tap (special item)

The mixer tap can optionally be connected via a stainless steel flex
hose G½ or Cu pipe Ø 10 x 1.
Cu pipe connection:
Connect the Cu pipe 10 x 1 to the squeeze connection. Tighten the
screw fitting with a spanner wrench.
G½ stainless steel flex hose connection:
Unscrew the reduction fitting and connect the stainless steel flex
hose to the G½ outside thread point.
Pay attention to the correct connection assignment:
+ = hot water connection
- = cold water connection
► = mixer output
Temperature setting:
 Remove cap
 Adjust the knurled
wheel until you reach
the required
temperature.
 Place the cap back on
to secure against
adjustment.
A thermostatic mixer tap must be installed in accordance with standard regulations and
NOTE
should therefore be conducted by a specialist contractor.
