Dismantling / Disposal

Dismantling
Disassembly may only be carried out by technicians. Before commencing dismantling,
ensure that the device has been fully isolated from the power supply. The unit must be
flushed through with care in order to get rid of any residual chemicals.

Disposal
The system is made using components made from stainless steel, non-
ferrous metals, plastics and elastomers and is to be disposed of in
accordance with prevailing local environmental regulations.
Depending on the condition, existing regulations and with due regard for
current requirements, dispose of it, for example, as
electrical waste (printed circuit boards), plastics (housing), metal plates, steel,
copper, aluminium (separate by sorting). Prior to disposal, all parts which are
in contact with media must be decontaminated.
Oils, solvents, detergents and contaminated cleaning tools (brushes, cloths,
etc.) must be disposed of in compliance with local requirements, in
accordance with the prevailing waste code and with due attention to the notes
contained in the manufacturers' safety data sheets.
