Cleaning and Maintenance

CAUTION: Do not perform cleaning or maintenance on the system during a
patient case.
CAUTION: Ultiri™ Measurement System accessories should be appropriately
classified as a biohazard and disposed of in compliance with applicable facility
procedures, local and country laws and regulations. Return the Ultiri
Measurement System to Abbott Medical at the end of its operating life.

Cleaning

The following Ultiri Measurement System items require cleaning:

System surfaces
•
TSC
The Ultiri Measurement System and the TSC should be cleaned following the
facility's standard cleaning schedule, or at least every 30 days under normal
use.

Clean system surfaces with a dry cloth, or a dry cloth slightly dampened with

water.
Clean the LCD surface of the monitor with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth.

CAUTION: Do not clean the LCD surface with detergents or other cleaning
solutions.
Clean exposed system cables with a soft cloth moistened with water or a mild

Clean the TSC with a disinfectant wipe or hypochlorite 1:10 solution and a soft

CAUTION: The TSC is not waterproof. Be careful not to use excessive moisture
when cleaning this device. Wipe only. Do not soak or spray.
Clean all other exposed system cables with a soft cloth moistened with water,

or water and a mild detergent.
