that is used for the emergency start must also have a 12
V system with negative ground.
To connect the jumper cables
WARNING:

terminal of the fully charged battery to or
near the negative terminal of the weak
battery.
CAUTION:

1. Open the engine cover. Refer to
install the engine cover on page 46 .
2. Connect one end of the red cable to the POSITIVE
battery terminal (+) on the weak battery (A).

3. Connect the other end of the red cable to the
POSITIVE battery terminal (+) on the fully charged
battery (B).
WARNING:

4. Connect one end of the black cable to the
NEGATIVE battery terminal (-) on the fully charged
battery (C).
5. Connect the other end of the black cable to a
CHASSIS GROUND (D), away from the fuel tank
and the battery.
6. Replace the covers.

3. Remove the RED cable from the 2 batteries.
Tire pressure
The correct tire pressure is 120 kPa (1.2 bar /17.4 PSI)
on all 4 tires.
To replace the PTO belt
1. Start the engine.
2. Turn the steering wheel fully to the left to get easy
access to the engine pulley.
3. Lower the cutting deck.
4. Stop the engine.
5. Remove the cutting deck or accessory.
6. Pull the spring stay from the lift chain.
7. Remove the 4 screws and remove the belt guard.
