To adjust the vibration damping units on the ROPS
The ROPS has 4 vibration damping units that prevent
vibration and noise from the ROPS.
1. Disengage the ROPS. Refer to
disengage the Roll Over Protection Structure
(ROPS) on page 15 .
2. Turn the upper vibration damping units until there is
no play in the ROPS.
3. Engage the ROPS. Refer to
disengage the Roll Over Protection Structure
(ROPS) on page 15 .
4. Turn the lower vibration damping units until there is
no play in the ROPS.
5. Tighten the counter nuts.

Operator presence control (OPC)
The OPC is engaged when the operator lifts from the
seat. The OPC indicator in the display comes on. The
OPC engages the safety circuit. Refer to
system overview on page 4 .
Operation conditions
The operation conditions are as follows:
• The engine can only be started when the remote
control is set to off.
• The engine can only be started when the switch for
remote control mode on the product is in the "0"
position.
• The engine can only be started when the drive of the
blades is disengaged.
• The engine can only be started when the parking
brake is applied.
• The drive of the blades can only operate when the
operator sits in the seat.
To do a check of the operation conditions
Do a check of the operation conditions daily.
1. Park the product on level ground. Try to start the
engine with the remote control switched on. If the
operation conditions operate correctly, the engine
does not start.
2. Park the product on level ground. Try to start the
engine with the switch for remote control mode on
the product is in the "1" position. If the operation
conditions operate correctly, the engine does not
start.
3. Try to start the engine with the drive of the
blades engaged. If the operation conditions operate
correctly, the engine does not start.
4. Try to start the engine without the parking brake
applied. If the operation conditions operate correctly,
the engine does not start.
5. Start the engine, engage the drive on the blades and
lift from the seat. If the operation conditions operate
correctly, the blades in the cutting deck stop.
To do a check of the ignition key
• Start and stop the engine to do a check of the
ignition key. Refer to
31 and To stop the engine on page 34 .
• Make sure that the engine starts when you turn the
ignition key to start position.
• Make sure that the engine stops immediately when
you turn the ignition key to stop position.
To do a check of the forward drive pedal and rearward
drive pedal
