Oven Chamber Cleaning
6.3.
The oven cleaning process turns the heating elements on to reach an oven temperature
of 550 °C and lasts for 45 minutes.
The heat generated makes the top of the instrument hotter than normal and
extreme caution should be used to prevent injury to anyone around the
instrument until it has cooled down after the cleaning cycle.
During the cleaning cycle, there may be some smoke and odor produced by the unit.
This is normal as the residue is burned off the oven lining.
• From the MAIN MENU, select CALIBRATION MENU and then OVEN SELF
CLEANING. Press [ENT].
• When the pan support has been gently removed, close the lid and press [GO].
• Monitor the temperature and time in the lower portion of the screen.
• The display will show an indication that the cleaning is complete. The oven is
very hot at this time. Wait for it to cool down before starting tests again.

6.4.
If the clock fails to keep accurate time when the instrument is turned off for long periods,
the battery on the main control board may be depleted and need to be changed. The
