The table below lists Control Panel messages, along with
their corrective actions, that are specific to the finisher. These
messages supplement those already described in the other
DocuPrint N32 documentation.
Description/Corrective Action
The Stapler cartridge is not in position.
ACTION: Verify that the Stapler cartridge has been installed. and that it
contains staples.
The finisher compiler tray (Area H) safety switch is on.
ACTION: Remove the obstacle from Area H.
Finisher cover H is not closed entirely, or the Compiler cover safety switch is
open or the cover switch is open.
ACTION: Remove the obstacle from this area and close the door.
Door E is open.
ACTION: Close Door E, the Gate Cover of the finisher.
Door F is open.
ACTION: Close Door F, the Transport Cover of the finisher.
Door G is open.
ACTION: Close Door G, the Top Cover of the finisher.
The finisher's staple door is open.
ACTION: Close the stapler door.
Problem with finisher elevator, stackers, or compiler tray
ACTION: Power off the printer. Then power it back on again.
Problem with finisher eject clamp.
ACTION: Power off the printer. Then power it back on again.
Finisher tamper home sensor problem.
ACTION: Power off the printer. Then power it back on again.
