Hot Swap Power Supply

The hot swap power supply (HSPS) option consists of two bays with redundant power sys-
tems. The sleds in the unit can be a mix of AC and DC power supplies. When both power
supplies are active, the electrical draw is shared between the two bays. If one power sup-

Note:
SecureSync does not have a power switch. When the unit is
plugged in, the power will be on.
2. Observe that the front panel illuminates The time display will reset and then start
incrementing the time.

1. Check the front panel status LED indicators:

Power

chronization has not yet been achieved.

Alarms
(acquiring fix behavior). A FAST blinking pattern would indicate the unit
requires attention.
DANGER!
Remove the connected power source BEFORE attempting to
remove a power sled for replacement.
Caution:
Only use Safran-approved replacement parts. Incorrect parts may
cause damage to the product.
LED should be lit (not flashing).
LED will be either OFF or flashing HEARTBEAT, since syn-
LED light should be OFF (startup behavior) or HEARTBEAT
