CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MACHINE

4. MACHINE CHARACTERISTICS

The MOVE machine is a precise and robust key cutting ma-
chine that lets you copy three different key families:
- DIMPLE keys
- LASER keys
- TUBULAR keys
4.1 ACCESSORIES
The machine is supplied with a series of accessories for its
use and maintenance:
- 2 fuses
- Machine anchoring tool
- Cutters (F-1, F-8 and F-11)
- Tracers (P-1, P-8 and P-11)
- Allen keys (3, 4 and 5)
- 3 mm "T" Allen key
- 2 tip stoppers
- 4 pairs of adapters for tubular keys
4.2 WIRING DIAGRAM
The main components of the electrical and electronic circuit
are:
1. Plug
2. Circuit breaker
3. Power switch
4. Motor
5. Bridge rectifier
6. Transformer
7. LEDs
See Figure 2
4.3 TECHNICAL DATA

Carriage movement: On precision roller guides
Useful courses: X axis = 28 mm; Y axis = 58 mm; Z axis = 25
mm
Lights: LEDs
Dimensions: Width = 186 mm; Depth = 280 mm; Height =
300 mm
Weight: 12 kg
4.4 MAIN PARTS OF THE MACHINE
The main parts of the machine are described below:
See Figures 3A and 3B
1. Clamp carriage assembly: for moving the clamp on the X
and Y axes via precision guide rails.
2. Carriage assembly control lever: for moving the carriage
assembly so that various points of the key are positioned
next to the cutter.
3. Head: for moving the cutter and tracer vertically (Z axis).
4. Head control lever: for moving the head downwards when
cutting a key.
1.
The operator MUST hold the carriage
assembly control lever (2) and the head
control lever (3) when cutting keys.
5. Carriage lock handle: for locking the carriage on the X
axis. Very useful when cutting a row of dimples on the same
X axis on dimple keys.
6. Head lock handle: this can be used to lock the head at the
desired height (necessary for cutting laser keys).
7. Clamp: with four specific grip areas for the type of key to
be copied.
8. Clamp handle: for opening and closing the clamps.
9. Tool chuck: for rapid tool insertion (cutters and tracers).
10. Cutter: made from high-speed steel (HSS). Cutters are
available in different shapes and sizes based on the geome-
try of the dimples or grooves on the key being copied.
11. Tracer: specifically designed to read the key coding. The
tracer to be used should be the one corresponding to the
cutter required for each specific copy.
12. Tracer height regulator: for moving the tracer position
vertically when adjusting the height between cutter and
tracer.
13. Tracer spring action handle: for enabling and disabling
the tracer spring action system.
- Enable the tracer spring action system when cutting dim-
ple keys.
- Disable the tracer spring action system when cutting laser
keys.
14. Swarf protective shield: this prevents the swarf created
when cutting keys from being ejected outwards from the
machine towards the operator.
15. Motor housing: this protects the motion transmission sys-
tem between the motor and the rotating head of the cutter.
