- Secure the key in the part of the clamp exclusively designed
for securing MERCEDES keys, using the "TIP stop" technique.
- Adjust the tracer vertically.
- You will need to lock the tracer in place (disable the spring
action system).
- Insert the tracer into the blade channel on the key and lock
the machine head.
- If the tip of the tracer brushes against the bottom of the
blade channel on the key, raise the tracer slightly.
- We recommend making one initial pass and then another
finishing pass over the entire key profile. The key should be
cut from the key tip towards the key grip.

- You will need to use the AD-5º, AD-15º or AD-45º adapter
depending on the key model to be copied. Please consult the
table.
- Position the adapters on the clamp using the "TIP stop"
technique.
- Secure the keys into the adapters using the "SHOULDER
stop" technique.
- Adjust the tracer vertically.
- You will need to enable the tracer spring action system.
- Use the X axis carriage assembly locking handle to make
the task easier.

5.2.8 JIS-4P keys
See Figure 13

- Adjust the tracer vertically.
- You will need to lock the tracer in place (disable the spring
action system).
- Cut one side of the key after removing the rotating plate on
the adapter so as not to interfere with the cutter or tracer.
- Turn the two keys to the other side of the adaptor. Re-secu-
re the adapter in the clamp after turning it 180º.
- Finish cutting the second side of the key.
5.2.9 FO-6P key
See Figure 14
- Use this cutter-tracer set: F-22 / P-22.
- The key is secured in the clamp using the specific AD-FO

- Position and secure the adapters on the clamp using the
"TIP stop" technique on the outside of the clamp.
- Make sure the key is properly flat when positioning the key
so that the cuts are distributed symmetrically across the key.
- You will need to lock the tracer in place (disable the spring
