Leveling the unit

The units AIR1 XVP.. units have adjustable levelling feet. It must be ensured that the unit is standing on a flat floor
surface prior to installation work. The height of the levelling feet must be adjusted to level the unit. The height "H" must
not exceed 125 mm (see Fig.5).

Condensation outlet

Naturally, condensation may form in the heat exchanger of the unit due to the temperature differences between warm,
humid air on the one hand and cold air on the other hand, which may be more or less depending on the moisture con-
tent of the warm air. The ventilation unit therefore has 2 stainless steel condensate trays (exhaust air side and supply air
side) in which the condensate is collected and discharged in a controlled manner.
It is generally recommended to connect both condensate connections as described below. The connection of the con-
densate drain on the exhaust air side is mandatory.
The condensate water connection on the supply air side is mandatory if indoor spaces are air-conditioned or if con-
densate formation on the supply air side is to be expected (e.g. through passive cooling by means of bypasses).
The drainage pipe route must not rise above the siphon
The condensate water must flow out easily. If the automatic discharge of condensate water is not ensured, a sui-
table condensate pump must be used.
The condensation outlet must be made frost-proof!
It must be ensured that the condensation outlet pipes are connected separately.
The condensate water pipes must only be connected to the waste water system via an odour trap (ball siphon availa-
ble as an accessory). The condensate must flow freely into the waste water system after the siphon.
Existing drainage systems must not be directly connected to the waste water system.
The condensate cap must be removed before commissioning!
Ball siphon available as an accessory.
1. The condensation outlet pipe is shown below (see Fig.6).
2. Attach the pipe bracket (see Fig.7).
