ATTENTION
Change-over-unit AIR1-CO DX
5. Screw the change-over-unit DX and the AIR1 unit together (Screw: M8 x 16; see Fig.22).
6. The coolant line of the change-over unit DX (AIR1-CO DX) must be connected in accordance with the recognised
rules of technology and local regulations.
7. Cooling can produce condensate. The correct condensate connection to the sewage system must be ensured
before commissioning. A siphon is required for this purpose (Recommended accessory: siphon AIR1-KS D, Art-Nr.
07170). The condensate must drip freely into the drain after the siphon.
8. After installing the change-over-unit DX, adjust the settings in the commissioning assistant. For this purpose, please
refer to corresponding chapter in the installation and operating instructions for the AIR1-SM DX control module and
the respective AIR1 ventilation unit (Required accessory: AIR1-SM DX, Art-Nr� 40408).
2�6�2 Installation change-over-unit DX for AIR1 XH and RH units
The accessory AIR1-SM DX - control module DX (art� no� 40 408) must be acquired for connecting the unit to the on-
site cooling system for AIR1 ventilation units in series XC, XH and RH�
1. Apply sealing strips where the change-over-unit DX is joined together with the AIR1 unit or the external auxiliary
heater (see Fig.23).
2. If necessary, remove screw covers on the AIR1 unit before installing the change-over-unit DX (see Fig.24).
3. Remove the temperature sensor from the supply air side of the AIR1 unit or the external auxiliary heater. Then attach
the change-over-unit DX and the AIR1 unit or external auxiliary heater (see Fig.25).
