2.6.3 Output Isolation Transformer Box
An output isolation transformer box provides an entire isolation solution for
customer loads, which is different from the output transformer of transformer-
based UPSs. The output transformer box provides isolation functions even in
bypass mode. The isolation transformer is a 2:1:1 industrial-frequency transformer.
It converts one 220 V output voltage into two isolated 110 V outputs.
