compressor motor base to main base because the bases
are isolated from each other by vibration
mounts.

oil cooler
motor (when
used)
is grounded
to
the starter
as shown

conductor

this motor
is compatible
to the motor short circuit
protection
When
the control
circuit
voltage
is from a separate
power (voltage)
source
and is not controlled
by the
motor
power
supply
disconnecting
means
a dis
connect
switch (DS)

motor starter
coil voltage
shall be
the same
as the motor voltage
i.e. 200,
230,
460
volts
etc,
unless the starter
is ordered
with its own
fused
control
transformer.
The contact
(relay
or
fan-oil
cooler
starter
interlock)
from the compres
sor control
panel
to the
remote
mounted
starter
control
circuit
is rated
600
volts

circuits
are to be connected

be interlocked

Motor control
circuits
must be fused
in accordance
with article
430-72
of the National
Electrical
Code
Control
circuits
shall have short circuit
protection
(fuses
etc)
in all instances
because
the control
circuit
wiring
leaves
the starter
enclosure
to go to
the external
devices
