Installing the Switch

Caution

Before reading Chapter 3 Installing the Switch, ensure that you have read Chapter 2 Preparing for
Installation carefully.

Verify that requirements described in Chapter 2 Preparing for Installation have been met.

Before You Begin

Before installation, ensure that the following requirements are met:

The installation environment meets heat dissipation requirements.

The installation environment meets temperature and humidity requirements.

The power supply and required current are available at the installation site.

Ethernet cables have been deployed at the installation site.

Selected power modules meet power requirements.

Before installing the tail fiber, make sure that the device's optical module and cable gland are not removed,
Install the switch correctly
Connect the power supply
Connect cables
Bundle up cables
Check installation
