ARMING THE SYSTEM

Example set-up
This example will be used to refer to throughout this section to further explain the arming procedure.
• User 001 has access to areas 01, 02, 03 and 04.
• User 002 has access to areas 01 and 02.
• User 003 has access to area 01.

ARMING A MULTI-AREA SYSTEM AT A KEYPAD

Arming all areas

Enter a valid PIN code or present a valid tag to the symbol.
To arm all areas level A, press f.
The keypad will now display the exit timer, leave the building via the
agreed exit route and make sure the exit door is closed properly.

Arming individual areas

Please note: If the keypad is left without a button press for 10 seconds, the display will return to day mode.
Enter a valid PIN code or present a valid tag to the symbol.
Press h to arm individual area(s) and level(s).
Press f to arm individual area(s) and level(s).
Using the numerical keys, enter the number of the area that is to be
armed or press b/d to scroll through the areas accessible
to that user.
