ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module

The ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module protects the cache memory on the installed ThinkServer
RAID card.

Note: Use any documentation that comes with the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module and follow
those instructions in addition to the instructions in this topic.
Removing the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module
To remove the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module, do the following:
1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See "Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover" on page 49.
2. Disconnect the cable of the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module from the RAID card.
3. Gently press the tab on the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module bracket and remove the
ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module assembly as shown at the same time.
