Removing the TMM
To remove the TMM, do the following:
1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See "Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover" on page 49.
2. Remove the Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 720i PCIe Adapter. See "Removing a PCIe card" on page 54.
3. Press the two release tabs

4. If you are instructed to return the old TMM, follow all packaging instructions and use any packaging
materials that are supplied to you for shipping.
Installing the TMM
To install the TMM, do the following:
1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See "Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover" on page 49.
2. Remove the Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 720i PCIe Adapter. See "Removing a PCIe card" on page 54.
3. Position the TMM above the Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 720i PCIe Adapter and align the two holes in the
TMM with the two pins on the adapter. Then, lower the TMM straight down until it is securely seated.
