Removing the power conversion board
To remove the power conversion board, do the following:
1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See "Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover" on page 49.
2. Locate the power conversion board. Then, disconnect the power cables from the power conversion
board.
3. Remove the screw that secures the power conversion board. Then, slide the power conversion board to
the front of the chassis until it is released from the retention posts on the chassis, and then carefully
remove the board out of the chassis.

4. If you are instructed to return the old power conversion board, follow all packaging instructions and use
any packaging materials that are supplied to you for shipping.
Installing the power conversion board
To install the power conversion board, do the following:
1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See "Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover" on page 49.
2. Remove the power conversion board. See "Removing the power conversion board" on page 76.
