When operating the UID, do not press the UID button for more than 5
seconds.
The BMC can be reset using the UID button.
● BMC reset:
Press and hold the UID button for 6 to 11 seconds. After 6 seconds of
holding down the UID button, the blue lamp starts flashing at 2 Hz. Release
the UID button to initiate a BMC reset. The BMC starts after about a minute.
● Restore factory default configuration:
Press and hold the UID button for more than 12 seconds. After 12 seconds
of holding down the button, the blue indicator starts flashing at 4 Hz.
Release the UID button to initiate a BMC reset. After about 3 minutes, the
BMC starts with the factory default configuration.
All BMC settings including username and password will be removed
except the FRU and network settings.
On/Off button (2)
Used to switch the server on or off. The On/Off button applies or removes
primary power from the power supply to the server but maintains standby
power.
If the system is running an ACPI-compliant operating system, pressing
the On/Off button will perform a graceful shutdown.
