Front
Measuring head.Incorporates the measuring mechanism.
Anterior segment illuminating window.Lights the anterior segment.
Rubber pad.Shock absorbing rubber, this cushion is used when placing the measuring
unit on the station.
Eye sensor. Automatically identifies the patient's right and left eyes by using ultrasonic
waves.
Measuring window ... The patient looks at the target (see Figure 6-4 in page 23) through this
window.
Battery charge contacts (three terminals).Connected with the charging contact of the station
(see page 10) to charge the battery pack (see page 16).
READY key.Starts and ends measurement (see page 23).
Forehead rest.Pressed against the patient's forehead to stabilize the measuring unit (see page
29).
d) Vertical eye position target line.Align with the patient's eye to determine the correct height
(see page 24).
® Horizontal eye position target line . Align with the patient's eye to determine the correct
horizontal position (see page 24).
