RG-AM5528-SF is an all optical i-Share master AP launched by Ruijie Networks based on the
wireless simplified Ethernet solution for complex application environments, such as wireless
dormitory networks, hotel networks, and dense office networks. RG-AM5528-SF provides 4
uplink 10G SFP ports and 24 downlink 1G/2.5G SFP ports, supporting optical APs for 24
rooms.
The important factors such as wireless network security, RF control, mobile access, service
quality assurance, and seamless roaming are fully considered in the design of RG-AM5528-
SF, ensuring the data forwarding, security and access control of wireless users.
External ports of RG-AM5528-SF series all optical i-Share master AP:
MGMT port: that is, 10/100/1000M management port, using RJ45 connector. This port can be

used to connect the Ethernet port of the computer to download programs. This port also
supports the standard Data Center Manageability Interface (DCMI). Users can remotely
manage and maintain the all optical i-Share master AP through this port. When the port is
connected to the computer's Ethernet port, use a standard network cable.
Console port: that is, communication serial port, which uses RS-232 port level and

standard RJ45 connector. This port is used to connect the serial port of the background
terminal computer for system commissioning, configuration, maintenance, management,
and master AP software program loading.
Downlink SFP port: support 24 1G/2.5G downlink SFP ports.

Uplink SFP port: support 4 10G SFP+ ports.

External power feeding port: provide 24 PoE power feeding ports; ports 1P-20P support

PoE/PoE+ and each port supports up to 30W power feeding; ports 21P-24P support
PoE/PoE+/PoE++ and each port supports up to 90W power feeding; the maximum PoE
output of the whole machine is 480W.
Warning
 RG-AM5528-SF may cause radio interference in living environment when it is running.
 The built-in lithium battery model of this product is CR2032. Using a different type of lithium
battery may have a risk of explosion or loss of safety protection. If the battery is damaged,
replace it with the same type, and dispose the used lithium battery properly.
