D. Appliance Buttons
Use the appliance buttons located on the decorative front
to control the flame, heater, and lights.
Buttons are located on the lower right side of your appli-
ance front. See Figure 5.3.

E. Resetting Temperature Cutoff Switch
The heater is protected with a safety device to prevent
overheating. Should the heater overheat, an automatic
cutoff will turn the heater OFF. It will not turn ON auto-
matically without being reset.
If the appliance overheats or the heater fan is running
but is blowing cool air:
1. Turn Heater to OFF.
2. Let appliance cool for 5-15 minutes.
3. Ensure there is nothing blocking the heater dis-
charge.
4. Turn Heater ON.
If the appliance continues to blow cool air, follow the
Temperature Cutoff Switch Reset procedure:
1. Turn appliance to OFF.
2. Shut-off power at circuit breaker or using junction-
box toggle switch.
3. Let appliance cool for 15 minutes.
4. Turn on power at circuit breaker or using junction
box toggle switch.
5. Turn on appliance with manual flame control button
or remote control.
CAUTION: If you need to continuously reset the heater,
unplug or shut off power to the appliance and call your
customer/technical support.
