Questions and answers
Fireplace just stop running 2 days ago. I change the batteries in the remote, still doesn't work. First the flame stopped in January. It did run heat and it had light on the stone. The fireplace would it need a new part or is it done. I bought in Edmonton Alberta at Northern Fireplace, in 2018 August 24th SF-ALL 60-BK- Allusion 60 inch Recessed Linear Fireplace. Thank You.
If the SimpliFire SF-ALL60-BK fireplace stops operating after changing the remote batteries, a likely cause is a communication issue between the remote and the receiver. The receiver (#3 in the parts list) may need to be re-paired with the remote (#8). Replacing batteries can reset pairing settings, requiring re-synchronization.

Temperature adjustment-how do you lower temp?
To lower the temperature on a SimpliFire Allusion Series heater, use the remote control and press the Temperature button to adjust the heater’s response to the ambient temperature. Ensure the heater is powered on, and set the desired temperature lower than the current room temperature.
