H. USING EGO CONNECT APP WITH YOUR TRACTOR
To assure that your tractor is in top shape, install the EGO Connect
app on your smartphone or tablet and periodically check for
available firmware updates. EGO Connect app can be downloaded
for free from Apple App Store or Google Play.
TO INSTALL AND SET UP THE APP
1. Download the EGO Connect app from App Store for iOS
devices such as iPhone or from Google Play for Android
devices.
2. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device
and your mobile device is connected to internet.
3. In the app, press "SIGN IN" if you already have an account or
"SIGN UP" and follow the steps to create a new account.
4. Briefly press the Start/Stop button on the tractor – the LCD screen will light up and display the "fuel gauge". Do NOT
fully turn on the tractor (the screen and ALL the buttons light up).
5. In the app, tap "Add Tool" and follow the app's instructions to scan the QR code. The location of the QR code and
Serial Number is shown in Fig. 8. If the app fails to scan the QR code, you will be prompted to manually enter the
serial number. The app will add your tractor to "MY TOOLS".
6. Follow the app's instructions to connect to the tractor.
TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE
Firmware is an operating system running on your tractor's on-board computer. Periodically new versions of firmware
become available. It is highly recommended that the latest version is installed on your tractor to make sure that the
tractor delivers the best performance, energy consumption, and safety.
In the Status screen, if you see a latest version, tap on it to install the latest firmware. The tractor status indicator over the
LCD screen will flash ORANGE during update. Follow the app's instructions to complete the firmware update.
