There are t wo m ain support ed power supply configurat ions, Deskt op and Mobile. The
Deskt op solut ion consist s of only using t he ATX power supply. The Mobile solut ion
consist s of only using t he AC Brick.
Not e: Deskt op peripherals, including add- in cards, will not work in m obile power m ode. I f
deskt op peripherals are used, t he plat form m ust be powered using deskt op power
m ode. The AC Brick power supply configurat ion does not provide t he 12 V supply
required by m ost deskt op peripherals.

Ensure a st at ic- free work environm ent before rem oving any com ponent s from t heir
ant i- st at ic packaging. The evaluat ion board is suscept ible t o elect rost at ic discharge
( ESD) dam age, and such dam age m ay cause product failure or unpredict able
operat ion. A flam e ret ardant work surface m ust also be used.

prot ect ed environm ent is desired. I f a chassis is not used, st andoffs m ust be used t o
elevat e t he board off t he working surface t o prot ect t he m em ory and t o prot ect from
any accident al cont act t o m et al obj ect s.
3. Check t he j um per default posit ion set t ing. Refer t o
Jum per J6H1 is used t o clear t he CMOS m em ory. Make sure t his j um per is set for
norm al operat ion.
4. Be sure t o populat e t he following hardware on your evaluat ion board:
