• The clock
and/or
the timer
have
been set incorrectly.
• Time timer
is not engaged.
• Time VCR has not been set up properly.
• Timer
recording
is in progress.
Set the clock and/or timer correctly.
Press TIMER
and check
to make
sure
that @ appears
on the front
display
panel.
Re-perform
the set-up
procedures.
Make
sure you have compensated
for
Guide
Channel
and VCR or cable
box channel
number
mismatches
(_'
pg. 40).
Timer programming
can't be performed
when
timer recording
is in progress.
Wait until it finishes.

panel won't stop blinking.
4. The cassette is automatically
ejected, and (9 and _

• Timetimer is engaged but there's no
cassette loaded.
Load a cassette with
time record
safety
tab intact,
or with
time hole covered
with
adhesive
tape.
5. (9 blinks for 10 seconds and the
timer mode is disengaged.
• Timeloaded cassette has had its
record safety tab removed.
Remove
the cassette
and cover
its
hole with
adhesive
tape,
or replace
it
with
a cassette
on which
the safety
tab is intact.
6. Time cassette
is automatically
ejected,
time power
shuts off and (9
and [_
won't
stop blinking.
• TIMER
has been pressed
when
there
are no programs
in memory,
or the
timer
record
program
information
has not been programmed
correctly.
Check the programmed data and re-
program as necessary, then press
TIMER again.
7. Cable channels are not automatically
switched during timer recording.
• Timeend of tape was reached during
timer recording.
The program
may not have been
recorded
in its entirety.
Next time
make
sure you have enough
time
on
the tape to record
the entire
program.
8. Sate]lite channels are not automati-
cally switched during timer
recording.
• The Controller
is not properly
connected
to the VCR.
• Time output
channel
selected
in the
Cable
Box Set screen is incorrect.
• Time cable
box's power
is off.
Connect
the Controller
correctly
(_'
pg. 16).
Ariel
confirming
your
cable
box's
output
channel
number,
re-access
the
Cable
Box Set screen and select the
correct
number
(r_' pg. 1 7).
Make
sure the power
is on before
timer
recording
starts.
9. Timer
recording
begins
as sched-
uled,
but the channel
is always
incorrect.
The Controller
is not properly
connected
to the VCR.
The output
channel
selected
in the
DBS Receiver
Set screen is incorrect.
• The VCR
is not set correctly
to
control
the DBS Receiver
• Time DBS receiver's
power
is off.
Connect the Controller correctly
(_' pg. 19).
After confirming your DBS receiver's
output channel number, re-access the
DBS Receiver Set screen and select
the correct number
(:_' pg. 20).
Set the correct DBS Receiver brand
code (:_' pg. 21 ).
Make sure the power is on before
timer recording starts.
• Even though
you don't
use an
external
Cable
Box, "CABLE
BOX
SET" is set to "ON".
Set "CABLE BOX SET" to "OFF"
(_
pg. 1 7).
10.We moved, and now VCR Plus+
doesn't work properly.
11 ."PROGRAM
FULL"
is displayed
on
the screen.
• The receivable
stations in the new area
are received
on different
channels
than
those in the previous
area.
• All
8 programs
of the VCR's timer
