LOAD A CASSETTE
Make sure time record safety tab is intact. If not, cover the
hole with adhesive tape before inserting the cassette.
SELECTRECORDING
CHANNEL
Press CHAT (+/-). Or press the appropriate NUMBER
keys, then press ENTER. (The channel changes after a
few seconds whether you press ENTER or not.)
• If you use time RF connection, by pressing the TV/VCR
button, select VCR mode to view the program to be
recorded.
SETTAPESPEED
Press SP/EP to set the recording speed.
STARTRECORDING
Press and hold REC and press PLAY on time remote
control, or press REC on the VCR's front panel.
Vide() Calibration takes place at the beginning of
both the first SP and time first EP recording ariel"
inserting the cassette (when Vide() Ca]ibration is set
to "ON", r_' pg. 32).
PAUSE/RESUME
RECORDING
Press PAUSE. Press PLAY to resume recording.
o During record pause, you can change the recording
channel by using time CHAT (+/-) buttons or NUMBER
keys.
Vide() Calibration will not take place if the tape
speed is changed while in record pause mode.
STOPRECORDING
Press STOP or STOP/EJECT. Then press STOP/EJECT to
remove the cassette.
PAUSE
Accidental erasure prevention
• To prevent accidental recording on a recorded cassette,
remove its record safety tab.
To record on it later, cover the hole with adhesive tape.
