Player
You can use a camcorder asthe player and your VCR asthe recorder.
MAKE CONNECTIONS
Connect aimAV cable between time camcorder's VIDE()
()UT and AUDIO OUT connectors and your VCR's
VIDE() IN and AUDIO IN connectors.
• If connecting a camcorder with an S-VIDEO output
connector, it is recommended to use timeS-VIDEO
connection to minimize pklure degradation while editing.
• When a Master Edit Control-equipped IVC camcorder is
used, the camcorder is capable of controlling your VCR.
Timemini-plug cable is a mono 3.5 mm mini-plug to
mono 3.5 mm mini-plug connector.
e If connecting to a camcorder with a monaural output,
connect the audio output connector on the
camcorder to AUDIO IN L of the VCR.
LOAD A CASSETTE
Insert the cassette to be recorded on into the recorder.
SETRECORDER'SINPUTMODE
Set to "AUX". Press the NUMBER key "0" and/or CH to
select depending on the connector being used "L-I"
for the rear AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector, or "F-1" for
the front AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector.

ACCESS MAIN MENU SCREEN
Press MENU.
ACCESS FUNCTION SETSCREEN
Press CH A_" or SHUTTLE PLUS AV to move time
highlight bar (arrow) to "FUNCTION SET", then press
OK or SHUTTLE PLUS E>.
SELECT REAR AUX INPUT SET
MODE
a S-VHS IN: Move the highlight bar (arrow) to
"REAR AUX INPUT" by pressing CH AT or
SHUTTLE PLUS AV, then press OK or SHUTTLE
PLUS b, to set to "S-VIDEO".
b- REAR VIDE(): Move the highlight bar (arrow) to
"REAR AUX INPUT" by pressing CH AT or
SHUTTLE PLUS AW, then press OK or SHUTTLE
PLUS E> to set to "VIDE()".
