2. Using both hands place the thumbs on the
side of the carrier at the opposite end of
the TIM brake lever. Push down on one
side at a time slightly pressing in the
outward motion until a snap sound is
heard.
3. Check the two side snap latches on the
carrier and verify that they have latched to
the package. If not then press down on
top of the side snap latches until they snap
into place.
Processor Carrier Assembly to Heatsink
1. If there is TIM (Thermal Interface Material)
protective film on the base of heatsink,
remove it.
