9.3 Operating modes of the control unit

The 650-16 control unit features 4 different operating modes:
28
Operating and programming the control unit
Manual mode (Program 000)
Manual mode is the simplest operating mode.
There are no sewing programs and no entries
for individual sewing steps.
Changes to the fullness, stitch length, thread tension, curve
support and actuation of other functions are always immedi-
ately implemented.
This means that you can change all the important sewing pa-
rameters manually during sewing.
Automatic mode (Programs 001 - 999).
Sewing programs are executed in the automatic mode.
The seams in the stitching programs are divided into individ-
ual segments (steps), to which individual sewing parameters
such as fullness, curve support, etc. are assigned.
Quick programming
Quick programming mode allows new sewing programs to be
created very quickly and easily.
Programming mode
In programming mode new sewing programs can be created,
modified, deleted, copied and mirrored (left/right arm).
