8.9 Function of the optional additional pedal

The left pedal (2) has dual functionality. Depending on the setting
at technician level, this either changes the fullness or curve support
( Service Manual Chap. 17.3.3).

Steps
1. Depress the additional pedal:

8.10 Knee switch

The knee switch (1) switches from one step to the next in the
sewing programs both in automatic mode and programming mode.
Steps
1. Press the knee switch.

In automatic mode:
The value for fullness or curve support is corrected for the
current step.
In manual mode:
The value for fullness or curve support is selected.
• Push the pedal forward: increases the value
• Push the pedal back: reduces the value
